Description

A watercolour fixed to a paper backing. The scene is on the seashore with three fishing boats visible at sea and a further one beached. There is woman sitting on the back of a white donkey, sat side saddle looking towards a second woman also sitting possibly holding a baby. There is an ink note on the bottom left of the backing paper //from C. Bentley. A.P. April 1862//
