Description

A watercolour on two conjoined pages of a sketchbook, with a view from a balcony of the Ostend harbour in the middle ground. Queen Victoria visited her uncle, the King of the Belgians, in 1843, arriving at Ostend on 13 September and leaving Antwerp on 20 September.
