Description

Inscribed in brown watercolour, l.c.: .TORONTO. CW.; In pen & brown ink, b.: near College Avenue.
Laid down on cardboard. The structure is perhaps the refreshment booth erected for the Provincial Exhibition of 1852. It stood on the west side of University Ave., near Elm St.
Medium: Watercolour, touches of gouache, over pencil on wove paper.
