Description

A watercolour showing the Orangerie with a flap to show it with and without glass according to the season. A ground plan is below. The accompanying text reads: 'Design for an Orangerie, the frame and Glass removed in Summer it forms a Chiosk.'
This drawing is part of Repton's Red Book for Brighton Pavilion (970493) submitted to George, Prince of Wales (later George IV) in 1806.
