Watercolour on paper, of an Italian village, with the Mediterranean visible to the right. Identified underneath as Porto Maurizio. The bottom left of the picture has Rosamond Talbot’s monogram and the date 1884. At the bottom left of the mounting is an attached sale ticket //Porto Maurizio – Italy. 10/6 R.C.Talbot//. Dominated by a large church, San Maurizio, (1781-1832) with an old quarter of stepped streets.
