Studies of details from the monumental effigy of John Fitzalan, Lord Maltravers and 7th Earl of Arundel, in Arundel Church, study for part of plate 120 of Stothard's 'The Monumental Effigies of Great Britain', published by Anna Eliza Bray, 1817-32, one of a large group of studies for this volume; consisting of studies of hilt and dagger-sheath. 1814. Pen and grey ink and watercolour, with graphite.
