Description
The procession passing St. Paul's cathedral, the black-canopied funeral shallop, third in a long line of barges including those of the Lord Mayor, the Admiralty and city livery companies, escorted by boats of the Sea Fencibles to either side and inumerable wherries and other small craft nearer each bank; spectators on riverside walk in foreground. 1806. Etching and aquatint, hand-coloured.

Lettered with title and production details: "Turner pinx.t - Published & Sold March 1, 1806 by Edw.d Orme Engraver-Printseller to the King & Royal Family, 59 Bond Street, London - J. Clark & H. Merke sculp. - Taken from Bank-side, Exhibiting a View of St. Paul's, London Bridge etc."
