Description
Biographical History: Anna Maria was the eldest daughter of Governor Philip Gidley King. She married Hannibal Hawkins Macarthur in 1812 and the couple settled at Vineyard, Parramatta, which became one of the leading houses of the colony. After the financial collapse of her husband in the late 1840s, the couple moved to Ipswich, where Anna died in 1852.

The Vineyard was an estate enclosed by Victoria Road, Vineyard Creek, Subiaco Creek, and the Parramatta River. The area is now owned by Rheem Australia Pty Ltd. Anna Maria Macarthur was the eldest daughter of Governor Philip Gidley King. She settled with Hannibal Hawkins Macarthur at Vineyard following their marriage in 1812.
