Watercolour painting on paper of Eranthemum nervosum also known as Blue Eranthemum, or Blue Sage from an album of 58 botanical paintings. The painting shows the stem of a plant with multiple leaves. Small blue flowers, both blooming and as buds are also depicted. Areas of the painting have been burnished to give a three-dimensional quality to the painting.
