Description
A book of prints by Samuel Daniell, illustrative of southern African animals, peoples and scenery, titles and a production detail to each plate, a descriptive text prefacing every three images. 8. A view of a Tswana hut surrounded by a high wall, two women, a child and a man gathered round the cooking fire in the courtyard, the child playing with a dog and one of the women preparing food, other dwellings on the hill beyond with cattle under the shade of the trees.
