Description
Additional Makers: James Hunter (d. 1792)
The sheet has been removed from its mount, backed and the bottom of the mount attached to the bottom of the sheet; probably during conservation work, 196-?, at which time the remainder of the mount was perhaps lost. Another watercolour version by Peachey of the same view is in P.A.C. (see 'Archives Canada Microfiches', Microfiche 2, No. 15; Neg. No. C-2003). After a watercolour by James Hunter, 1779? (see P.A.C. 'Archives Canada Microfiches', Microfiche 3, No. 31; Neg. No. C-1507). See Peachey notes.
