Effigy of one of the Wingfields, Lords of Letheringham, in Wingfield Church, Norfolk, study for plate 93 of Stothard's 'The Monumental Effigies of Great Britain', published by Mrs Anna Eliza Bray, 1817-32, one of a large group of studies for this volume; male figure, seen in profile, head at left, with hands held in attitude of prayer, wearing armour, and resting head on a helmet and feet on a lion, also separate studies of details, consisting of part of his sword belt, and leg-armour. 1812. Pen and grey ink and graphite and watercolour, with grey wash.
