Description

A similar elevation is shown in Frederick Cumberland's 1849 architectural drawings for the building (Archives of Ontario; J.C.B. and E.C. Horwood Collection, #68a). The registry office from 1850-1875, the building was on Toronto St., east side, between Court and Adelaide Sts.
