Description

Scene in Covent Garden with Dr Bossy, the quack doctor, addressing a small crowd of invalids, attempting to sell his medicines; one man with a bandage around his head approaches the doctor, who holds up a glass full of a pink liquid, other men with various injuries sit and stand behind; a group of onlookers in the background, St. Paul's Church on the right; copied from an earlier drawing. c.1850.
