Trees are shown in the background. Inscribed on RCIN 980032.j verso: From my sitting room window, Market Day VR & Victoria Sept: -29 - Oct: 3. 1860. From 22 September to 17 October 1860, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert travelled to Germany with their second daughter Princess Alice to visit their married daughter Victoria, Princess Royal. They stayed in the Palace at Coburg from 25 September to 10 October 1860.
