Scene in Calais harbour, with two women and a man standing in foreground around a fish seller, seated, pointing at a heap of fish, spilling from a box onto the beach; two elegantly dressed ladies and a dog walking along a tall wall behind at right, a guard seen at top of the wall; other figures looking at the sea at left; boats and jetty in background; 1. No. 2. from a series. 1815. Etching with hand-colouring.
