The Royal Crown of Denmark; with soft crimson cap, a wide gold band set with huge dark sapphires and surmounted by a row of acanthus in relief, each bar of the crown covered by sapphires and surmounted in the centre by an orb and cross. 1729. Watercolour and bodycolour, heightened with white and gold.
