Description

Tomb of Bishop Andrewes, St. Saviour's Church, Southwark; beneath a high vaulted ceiling a full-length effigy of Andrewes lies on top of a large tomb, behind him is a large inscribed slab surmounted by a coat-of-arms, in front of the tomb is a stone sarcophagiwith a red cloth draped over it and a shovel lying next to it. 1839. Watercolour with bodycolour over graphite.
