Description

Subject depicts a cityscape view of a road lined with buildings. On the left hand side of the raod there is a building with a horse in front of it; this building has a sign that reads "LOWER / WATER / Street" The red brick building next to it has three signs on it. The sign on the left is "BULGER"; the middle signed reads "HIGGINS SC / BROWNE" and the sign on the right reads "ROSE". There are several other buildings along the left hand side of the street, but the signs are not legible.
On the right side of the street there are three soldiers and a puppy; they stand on a sidewalk where the main street is intersected by another. On the far corner there is a building with a sign "MUIRHEAD / SPIRITOUS / LIQUORS" /. Buildings line the streetscape.
