Description

A young French peasant woman and man walking on a road from right to left, followed by a woman on horseback, seated in side saddle with her back turned to the viewer; a man riding away from the viewer with a basket on his arm at right; a woman and child seen at the entrance of a thatched cottage in background at left; 2. No. 2. from a series. 1815. Etching with hand-colouring.
