Soldiers on a broad road through verdant countryside, some sitting at the side of the road, resting, including several on the left, with a woman who carries a child strapped to her back in a shawl, a laden mule grazing nearby, with two forts, one to left, one right of centre, built on the summits of rounded hills; after Henry Smith. 1813.
