Description

Watercolour painting sparsely coloured on paper, of the Mausoleum of Akbar at Sikandra. The painting gives a corner view of the structure, with the main arched entrance on the south side given a prominent position. A false arched gateway is also shown on the east side of the building. The building stands on a red sandstone plinth with staircases allowing access.
