Effigy of a De L'Isle in Rampton Church, Cambridgeshire, study for plate 21 of Stothard's 'The Monumental Effigies of Great Britain', published by Mrs Anna Eliza Bray, 1817-32, one of a large group of studies for this volume; whole-length, figure in armour, seen in profile, head at left, a lion underfoot, also further studies of details of his attire. 1812. Pen and grey ink and graphite, with grey wash and watercolour.
