Plate 29 in volume I: a crowd of men with turbans, standing at the entrance of a mosque, at top of steps which lead to right; men queuing in front of the fountain under an arched niche below the steps; after Mayer; published state. 1802. Hand-coloured aquatint with etching.

A grey granite sarcophagus of Hapmen, high official, was later re-used as ritual bath in the Ibn Tulun Mosque in Cairo, formerly known as the "Lovers' Fountain".
