Collective Title: From a bound volume inscribed on the cover page: "A log of the Proceedings of H. M. Ship Lion for Sir Erasmus Gower Commander (and employed to carry out the Right Hon. Lord Viscount Macartney on an Embassy to China) with drawings, [findings?] and the state of the Thermometer and Barometer. Commencing 27th Day of September 1792 and Ending 8th Day of September 1794. By Mark Robert Kerr".
