Description

Royal Arms and Badge of Surrey from Old London Bridge; two stone carvings, the uppermost is the Royal Arms, the Lion and the Unicorn rampant either side of the shield, over the Royal Arms is the inscription 'G III 1760 R'; the lower image is of a piece of stone with a badge carved on it, a circle with a cross surmounting it and an 'X' in its' centre, beneath the date 1579, and in between the letters 'L R' . 1851. Watercolour with bodycolour over graphite.
