The mausoleum is the subject of another, later, view by Thomas and William Daniell, published in their series Oriental scenery, I, with lettering "Gate of the Tomb of the Emperor Akbar at Secundra, near Agra". See Mildred Archer op. cit. The mausoleum of the emperor Akbar was built by his son and successor, Jahangir. The building was completed in 1613
