Sydney Gardens, Bath; a garden adjoining a building on the right, with musicians playing on the balcony, partly enclosed by rows of boxes or alcoves with people seated drinking, to the left a path leads among trees to a swing, in the enclosure various groups including invalids, to the left in the foreground a group stands near an old lady and young couple seated on a bench, to the right a man shows his tongue to a doctor, two children running after dogs, and an incident with angry customer. 1801.
