Description

Termessus, looking SE; view from a height, looking down on a plateau covered with the ruins of the city, the theatre left, from the gorges bounding the plateau, mountain ranges rise into a bold rocky mass left, and stretch right, to the plain of Adalia and the long sweep of the coast and the sea. Pen and brown ink, watercolour and bodycolour, on blue-grey paper.
