Description

Fraxinus Florifera Botryoides plant, with a single stem off which spring leaves which hang down with flower heads; a proof before any lettering of plate 9 of the 'Catalogus Plantarum' of the Society of Gardeners of 1730. Mezzotint printed in colour.

Inscribed in pen in the hand of Hans Sloane "Fraxinus Florifera Botryoides. Mor: Hort. Reg. Blaess."
