Description
The body of John Williams, alleged murderer of the Marr family, lying on tilted platform of a horse-drawn death cart in front of Marr's warehouse, with murder implements of pen maul, ripping chisel and iron crowbar placed around his head, shown in profile to left, surrounded by armed guards and onlookers. 1811. Etching and aquatint, with hand-colouring.

Lettered within image on shop signs, below image with the title, continuing 'alias John Murphey on the last day of the year 1811.'
