Fir trees are shown in the foreground to the left, with Loch Eil shown behind to the right. Hills are shown on the banks to the left and behind. Inscribed lower left: From my window at Inverlochy looking towards Fort William Sept: 15 1873. Queen Victoria stayed at Inverlochy Castle from 9 to 16 September 1873 as a guest of Lord Abinger.
