Title devised by cataloguer based on inscription and research sources; Inscriptions: "J. Gould, Ptilonorhynchus Rawnsley's bowerbird"--In pencil, bottom right of mount; "The finished drawing from the Supplement to John Gould's Birds of Australia 1858-1868"--Accompanying documentation; "Rawnsley's bowerbird, also known as Rawnsley's satin bird or the blue regent, is a rare intergeneric hybrid between a satin bowerbird (Ptilonorhynchus violaceus) and a regent bowerbird (Sericulus chrysocephalus).
