View of a deep valley at the very bottom of which is a turbulent stream; slightly up the right hand slope from this is a cluster of buildings; this slope is vegetated and on the far right is a path on which a group of four figures walk; on the top of the left hand cliff is a small house; in the background is a large mountain peak rising above the valley. Aquatint with hand-colouring.
