Frontal view of the catafalque designed by Brenna for the burial of Catherine the Great and her husband Tsar Peter III (died 1762) which took place in the Cathedral of Saint Peter and Paul in Saint Petersburg, Russia in November 1796. Medium: pen and gray-black ink, brush and watercolor, over traces of graphite of leadpoint.
