Description

Watercolour illustration commissioned by William Roxburgh. ROX19. In his 'Flora Indica', Roxburgh describes this species as a large timber tree, native of the mountains which separate the Circar from the Mahratta dominions. It flowers in January and February. Roxburgh, 'Flora Indica' (1832) v.2, p.442.
