Description

Perspective front elevation of an imposing neo-Classical style building, being the design for the frontage of the Royal High School of Edinburgh, the main central block resembling an Ancient Greek Temple raised on a huge pedestal and with wings projecting on either side behind it. Inscribed on the reverse "Presented to the Royal Scottish Academy October 1st 1831 T Hamilton Architect."
