A watercolour of the view from the private apartments at the Pavilion, looking towards the sea, with a flap to demonstrate the aspect before and after Repton's proposed alterations. The watercolour shows how Repton planned to use trees to hide the buildings beyond the boundary of the Pavilion.
This drawing is part of Repton's Red Book for Brighton Pavilion (970493) submitted to George, Prince of Wales (later George IV) in 1806.
