Description

Inscribed: "[Hertage?] very much burned the white building very [substantial?] at Gothenburg July 7th / at Gothenburg / Gothenburg".

From a sketchbook of drawings and watercolours by Edward Price (c.1823-1854), recording his voyage from London to Scandinavia on the ship Andreas. The drawings are dated between 24 June 1826 and 8 July 1826.
