Subject depicts a view of Quebec from the citadel. The point of view is looking out over the water towards the mountains in the distance. At the bottom of the hill a section of the wall is visible; outside the wall there are several architectural structures along the shore. Several boats are out on the water; on the l.r. of the image are more architectural structures.
