Description

This is a page from a bound volume of prints entitled 'Sketches in Norway', dated 1854. The prints derive from drawings and watercolours made by Robert Elwes recording his tour of Norway. "Printed using R. Appel's Anastatic Process". The title page bears the handwritten inscription: "Gervase Clarke Elwes [1860-1895]. From his affect. father Robert Elwes, Sept 1877".
