Description

Opaque watercolour painting on mica of a Malpighia coccigera plant. The plant has a woody trunk with smaller woody branches growing off it. The branches have small, scalloped edged leaves and towards the top of the plant are small pink flower buds. Three of the flowers are in bloom, each with five pink petals and yellow centres. The plant is depicted against a low buff foreground and uncoloured background.
