Description

The Papal Tiara of Pope Clement XI; dome-shaped and covered in pearls, set with many gems with swags of pearls and enamelled flowers between, a star of diamonds near the lower band, a pink egg-shaped gem surmounted by a cross (?) above; with a list of jewels used for the tiara. Watercolour and bodycolour, heightened with white (partly oxidised), silhouetted.
