Description

Watercolour painting on paper of a species of Momordica, a annual or perennial climber. The painting shows a stem with multiple large green leaves and trailing stems. The stem also has three large yellow/orange fruits with prickly skins. To the left of the page is a cross section on the inside of the fruit and a seed. Areas of the painting have been burnished to give a three-dimensional quality to the painting. The painting is from an album of 58 botanical paintings.
