Description

Unfinished sketch of the distinctive conical red-roof of the Old Well or Old Pump at Tottenham Green, alongside Holy Trinity Church. The water-pump supplied water to local inhabitants until 1883 when the water was considered unfit for drinking purposes. The sketch is one of a series of fifteen of the Tottenham area.
